ABOUT US
Outrigger Youth Athletics, or OYA, is a 501c(3) non-profit organization founded in the Summer of 2018.
Our mission is to provide opportunity for youth in sports and sports-related activities.
We established our volleyball program at the start of 2019 and currently provide volleyball clinics as well as a club program for competitive athletes. We are looking to expand into other sports programs in the near future.

Isebiu Paul "Coach Boo" Reyes grew up around the sport of volleyball. Hailing from his native Island of Guam, USA, Coach Boo made his way to California after graduating from Southern High School with honors and accolades in multiple sports including All Island selections in Volleyball, Football, and Track and Field. Once settled in the San Fernando Valley, he noticed a need for high level volleyball instruction. As he was looking for clubs for his daughter, he felt that there was very little options available so OYA was started.

Since starting OYA in 2018, Coach Boo has developed many athletes of all ages, genders, and starting skill level. His specialty is player development. His unique philosophies have garnered success at every level. Within 2 years, he led the 12u team at Mason Park to a City Championship. After being hired in 2021 as the Head Coach at Reseda High School, it only took 4 seasons to take the program from zero wins in six seasons, to winning the school's first ever Women's Volleyball City Championship in Fall 2024. That team also surpassed all expectations and made it to the California State Regional Finals.

Whatever team, player, or situation, Coach Boo is the best at maximizing development in a short period of time, that lasts a player's whole career. He has developed multiple CIF Champions and All City and Player of the Year selections over multiple years.
COACH
ANDREW
Andrew Krowne joined the OYA coaching family in 2022 after more than a decade of coaching youth sports in the San Fernando Valley. Having grown up in Porter Ranch and graduating from Granada Hills High School, Andrew is no stranger to high-level athletic competition. As a decorated youth club and high school swimmer, Andrew knows what commitment and dedication is required to excel as a youth athlete.
Andrew is a passionate, detail-orientated and high-energy coach. He believes that developing high-level athletes requires as much attention on mental toughness and preparedness as is spent developing physical skills. He also believes a strong understanding of foundational concepts and skills is critical for all players to be their best beyond their position on the court! Andrew's track record speaks for itself, having players make some of the top CIF Open Division and Division I varsity programs in Los Angeles.

Outside of OYA, Andrew can also be found coaching soccer (AYSO), basketball (LA Dept of Parks and Recs) and baseball (Northridge City Little League). Like all of the coaches at OYA, Andrew embraces the awesome privilege and responsibility that comes with being a youth coach. Striving to translate volleyball lessons into life lessons, making his players well-rounded athletes, students, and people. We are so excited to have Andrew as part of the OYA family!!
